It was a
surprise getaway for my birthday. My
friend Hazel organized it. She told me
to prepare one early morning and meet her at the Agora Bus Terminal in Cagayan
de Oro City. When I arrived at the bus
terminal, the destination was revealed!
We were going to the town of Jasaan in Misamis Oriental.
And then
the adventure began, we were not sure if we are to ride the bus or the
jeepney. We chose to ride the jeepney so
that we could ask the driver the directions to the place. We are going to Agutayan White
Island in Jasaan.
From the jeepney
terminal, we ride the Jasaan liner jeepney and paid Php 40 each. We were dropped at Jampason beach resort;
this is where we would ride the boat to the white island.
We chartered the boat for Php 300. The banker would bring us to the island and wait for us until 11am to bring us back to the mainland. It is unsafe to stay on the island beyond noon.
The white island is very amazing. Though we stayed under the sun the whole morning (there is no shade in the island), it was all worth it! After enjoying the island, we went back to the mainland.

I thought the adventure was over but we were still headed to another amazing spot in the same town, Sagpulon Falls.
