Though not yet a mom, I am already a fan of blogs by and for moms. Truly Rich Mom is one of the mom blogs that I follow. I enjoy and am educated with the posts about parenthood, finances and random tips in everyday living. I also look forward to the giveaways and freebies that they carry out from time to time.

In my case, my Pinay heroine is of course, my mother. My mom has been a hero to us for more than 30 years already. Much more now that she has her grandchildren, I can see how patient and dependable she is. Many would agree that all the positive adjectives in the dictionary would describe our mothers. And most of us, if not all, consider our mother to be our hero, the wind beneath our wings. Without my mom in my life, I would not be where I am right now. She endures all hardships in life to give us her four kids comfort and happiness. Today, I see to it that I return the goodness my mama gives us. I let her go and travel to places where she can relax and unwind. I let her experience things she was not able to experience before because of poverty and so that she can give more to her kids. Seeing the goodness of my mother makes me afraid of becoming a mother myself because I think I can not level the good heart that she and all moms out there have.
